Terms of Service
Effective Date: 18 June 2026 · Svetlana Kurdjukova · Brenon Wallet
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Brenon Wallet prototype and associated website operated by Svetlana Kurdjukova, an independent software developer based in Tallinn, Estonia ("Operator," "I," "me"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms in full.
1. Operator Information
Svetlana Kurdjukova — Independent DeveloperKiriku 8/1

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use cryptocurrency software in your jurisdiction. By using the Service you confirm these requirements are met. The Service is not available to persons in jurisdictions where cryptocurrency use is prohibited by law.
3. Prototype Disclaimer — Read Carefully
Brenon Wallet is an experimental prototype under active development. By using the Service you accept that:
- The software is provided "AS IS" without any warranty, express or implied.
- The AML screening engine, risk scoring and auto-reject logic are experimental and may contain bugs.
- Risk scoring is probabilistic — a "clean" result is not a legal guarantee, and false positives or negatives can occur.
- Screening does not replace your own legal, tax and regulatory compliance obligations.
- Do not store amounts you cannot afford to lose during this prototype phase.
- The Service may be modified, paused or discontinued at any time without notice.
4. Non-custodial Nature
Brenon Wallet is fully non-custodial. Your private keys and seed phrase are generated on your device and never transmitted. I have no access to your keys, seed phrase or funds at any time. The Service screens incoming transactions but never holds or controls user funds. You are solely responsible for securing your recovery seed phrase.
5. Nature of AML Screening
The AML screening feature analyses the on-chain source of incoming transactions and assigns a risk score using third-party and public data sources. It is provided as a risk-reduction tool only. The Operator does not warrant that any transaction screened as low-risk is lawful, nor that any transaction screened as high-risk is unlawful. You remain responsible for your own compliance with applicable anti-money-laundering and other laws.
6. No Financial or Custodial Services
The Operator is not a bank, money services business, exchange or custodian. Brenon Wallet is software that lets you self-custody crypto assets and interact with public blockchains. The Operator does not hold, transmit or control user funds and provides no investment, financial or legal advice.
7. Prohibited Use
- Using the Service to launder money, evade sanctions or finance terrorism.
- Using the Service for any transaction prohibited under European Union or Estonian law.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, tamper with or circumvent the AML screening engine.
- Using the Service from jurisdictions where cryptocurrency software is prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY ESTONIAN AND EUROPEAN UNION LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF FUNDS DUE TO A SCREENING ERROR, A FALSE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE, A RETURNED DEPOSIT, DEVICE COMPROMISE OR SOFTWARE DEFECT. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE DURING THE PROTOTYPE PHASE AND THE OPERATOR'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED EUR 50.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Operator from any claim arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia and applicable European Union law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn, Estonia, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under EU law.
11. Changes
I may update these Terms at any time. Active beta participants will be notified via email or Telegram at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
